Permanent makeup
FAQ’S

We will begin the session with a full in-depth consultation to go over your brow goals. Then, your brows will be measured to create symmetry based on each client's own facial proportions.
Next up, we draw the outline so that you can approve the pre-drawn shape before we get started. During this time you can make any changes if you wish.
A topical anesthetic will then be applied for 20-30 minutes. Once your brows are numb, we will begin the session. With the right color, shape, and technique, the customized brows will be perfectly tailored to you.

All initial procedures take about 2-3 hours per client and include a ‘perfection’ touch up within 6-8 weeks. This will be a shorter session around 1 hour. Annual touch ups take about 1.5 hours.

After 10-14 days you can return to your daily routine. However, the entire healing process will take 4-6 weeks depending on your body regeneration and age. Your new brows will go through several different phases during the healing cycle.
The pigment will appear very dark immediately following the procedure and may get darker the next day. After the recovery phase, the brows will be very light, you might even think they disappeared. Even with the proper aftercare, clients may peel/fade more in different areas which may leave the brows looking patchy or uneven during this phase. It is absolutely normal. This is the reason why most clients need a touch up after 6-8 weeks.
The final look of your eyebrows will be apparent approximately 30 days after the procedure.
The after care instructions should be followed to ensure that eyebrows have healed accordingly. You will receive an aftercare kit with instructions on the day of your initial treatment. Please read the after care tab below to better prepare yourself.

One of the biggest myths around permanent makeup is that it impacts natural hair growth; it doesn’t.
When done correctly, permanent makeup shouldn’t have any effect on your natural hair growth. However, it can sometimes stimulate hair growth which is a win-win. While the boost in hair growth might require more grooming, it can help create a fuller look.

A 5% topical Lidocaine numbing cream is used prior to the procedure to make you as comfortable as possible. During the procedure, a secondary numbing agent is used to control any pain and swelling after the skin is broken. However, pain tolerance varies from client to client. Having the procedure during your menstrual cycle may increase sensitivity.

Kindly note that for all appointments we do not allow other guests in the procedure room. This includes family, friends, or children. Our studio uses needles, glass, and sharp equipment. You must be completely, 100% relaxed in order for us to perform the best possible work. Any additional guests that accompany you may wait in the lobby. We appreciate your understanding.

We take pride in using the highest quality pigments for our clients.
The brand we use is called Permablend pigments. The ingredients are a combination of powdered pigments, glycerin, witch hazel, isopropyl alcohol, aqua, rosin, and DMDM hydantoin.
These highly concentrated pigments set the industry standard for unmatched performance, longer-lasting results, and colors that fade into the natural look we desire for permanent makeup.
They are proudly made in the USA; vegan-friendly, cruelty-free, sterilized with radiation, CPNP registered, BVL registered, and EU compliant.

Permanent makeup can last anywhere from 1-3 years and will fade lighter over time. The longevity of your brow tattoo will be affected by factors such as the pigment used, your skin type, lifestyle (sun exposure and sweating), personal care products, and your body's natural metabolism.
Touch-ups are recommended every 12-24 months to maintain the color and shape. A touch-up may be required sooner for oily-skinned clients, those who tan often, or are exposed to certain chemicals (i.e. facial peels, chlorine, and anti-aging products).
Healed results are not guaranteed as each person’s skin and body is unique and will retain pigment differently. An after care kit and detailed instructions are provided after your first treatment to achieve optimal results, but there is no guarantee as we have no control over what happens during the healing process.
We always strive to achieve the best possible results, creating a long-lasting brow tattoo that clients will love.

If you have a pre-existing tattoo, it would be considered a Correction Brow Appointment. Correction work is more difficult to work on due to the presence of old pigment and scar tissue, therefore not all old tattoos can be corrected.
Prior to booking, please send clear photos of your brows (straight on and from the sides) with a brief explanation of what you like, dislike or want to achieve, to ensure that we are able to work on them:

Pre-Appointment Restrictions
The following restrictions are to ensure your skin is in the best possible condition for an amazing procedure.
Prior to your appointment:
Do come in with clean skin (no makeup if possible) and freshly washed hair so that you can go a few days without washing or getting your eyebrows wet. It is recommended to bring a photo of how you usually wear your brow makeup.
Please read the following instructions carefully:
Four weeks before your appointment, do not get the following treatments:
Botox or other fillers
Chemical Peels
Laser treatments
The same for seven days before your appointment:
Do not be exposed to heavy sunlight. Your skin should not be in the process of healing a sunburn before a procedure
Do not go for a facial, wax, tweeze, brow tint, use retinol, or any exfoliant or acids including Glycolic, Lactic, and AHA on the skin
Then, 48 hours prior to your appointment:
Do not take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E, Omega-3, and/or Ibuprofen, unless medically necessary. Tylenol or Acetaminophen is okay!
Remember, 24 hours prior to your appointment:
Do not drink alcohol
Do not drink coffee or consume anything that contains caffeine
Aftercare
Post-care is very important! Please read the following information carefully as it will apply to all of our eyebrows services: Microblading, Powder Brows and Combo Brows.
For the best and longest-lasting results, please follow exact aftercare instructions.
Only use the products given to you as any others may alter or extract pigmentation. Remember that your eyebrows are healing, and they may be red, inflamed, sore, be extra dark, itchy, flaky, and possibly even peel or scab off.
Every result and person is different, and some of the post-care symptoms may or may not happen to you. Also, the skin’s natural response after this procedure is to create lymph fluid, which can often flush out the pigment and scab the cut. You will see changes every day for up to 42 days. We will do the ‘Perfection Session’ 6-8 weeks after your initial procedure for your final result.
After four days, make sure your hands are completely clean and gently apply the post-care ointment with a cotton swab and clean hands. This can be done twice a day (morning and night), but be sure to use the ointment sparingly as your skin needs to heal itself and shouldn’t be too moist. A rice grain amount will cover both brows.
Please continue to apply the ointment for 7 days. If you use the balm correctly, you will have enough left over for your touchup post care as well.
The following must be avoided during all 14 days post-procedure:
Increased sweating (exercise, sports, etc.)
Wetting brows (swimming, shower, etc.)
Sauna, steam, hot bath, or jacuzzi
Sun tanning or salon tanning. Exposure to UV/UVA rays have been known to cause a shift in color and premature fading
Any laser treatments, chemical peels, waxing, exfoliating, and/or any creams containing Retin-A or Glycolic acid on the treatment area. Please inform your cosmetic technicians about your new eyebrows
Picking, peeling, or scratching the area (this may cause scarring or removal of the pigment)
Performing tasks related to heavy cleaning where there is a lot of airborne debris (garage
cleaning, yard work, etc.)
Drinking alcohol in excess, as this may lead to slower healing times
Driving in open air vehicles such as convertibles, boats, bicycles, motorcycles, or rollercoasters
Touching of the eyebrow area except for when rinsing and applying the post-care ointment with a cotton swab
If you have any unexpected problems with the healing of the skin, please contact us immediately, to discuss further instructions.
Contact a physician if any of the following signs or symptoms develop: extreme redness, swelling, or tenderness of the procedure site, fever, red streaks going from the procedure site towards the heart, and/or any green/yellow discharge that is foul in odor.
