What is Microblading?
Microblading is a form of cosmetic semi-permanent makeup performed using a manual, disposable handheld tool. This is composed with very fine needles resembling the shape of a blade (which we refer to as a microblade).
The microblade is used to hand draw each individual hair and simultaneously, implant the pigment into the skin.
How is Microblading done?
Each new drawn hair stroke is meant to simulate the client’s natural hair growth and seamlessly blend in with the existing brows. It adds color and fullness which results in a very natural, effortless look.
The microblading process ensures that a customized shape, look, and feel complements your face and personality. Your results will be gorgeous, yet undetectable. A soft, but full and natural finish.
Who is Microblading for?
Microblading is the ideal solution for clients who have patchy, thin, or uneven eyebrows and are looking for a full, but natural result. Not everyone is a candidate for microblading and there are different elements to consider such as skin condition and health.
Microblading is suitable for clients with normal skin and small pores. Oil in the skin can cause the microblading hair-stroke to expand and blur, so the less oily the client’s skin is, the better the result would be. We have strict guidelines when it comes to deciding who is a good candidate for microblading, and who should rather avoid the procedure.
Are there different techniques and approaches to Microblading?
Yes, there are a few different approaches to Microblading. There are 1D Eyebrows, where hair strokes all go in one direction. Then there are 3D Eyebrows, where the hair strokes are laid out in a specific pattern across the eyebrow ridges, creating a 3D effect.
As a Microblading LA Alumni, Angela follows the exact pattern that world-renowned microblading artist Lindsey Ta created. It has been recognized as one of the most natural and popular microblading designs in the industry. This transformational microblading pattern can be performed accurately only by an MLA Master Artist.
How many sessions do I need for a new set of Microbladed eyebrows?
A new set of Microbladed eyebrows takes two appointments to complete. The technique and art of microblading is very delicate and for this reason it needs two visits to ensure that all the strokes are evenly saturated with pigment.
The second appointment is called a complementary touch up and takes place 6 to 8 weeks after the initial appointment when the pigments have properly settled into the skin. In this complementary touch up, we will make any needed adjustments and ensure that each hair-stroke has even color.
How do I maintain my new Microbladed brows?
We recommend a yearly touch up after the initial complementary touch up to maintain the crispness and freshness of the color.
Natural fading occurs from external factors, such as exposure to the sun, as well as internal factors, such as the gradual breakdown of pigments as your body metabolizes it out of your system. Everyone can experience the fading process differently and it really comes down to skin type and lifestyle.

What are Powder Brows?
Powder Brows is a cosmetic semi permanent makeup technique designed to create eyebrows with a soft powder effect, very similar to powder makeup.
The powder effect is done with a shading technique using a permanent makeup device. The artist has full control and flexibility to make the brow as bold or as natural as the client would like.
How are Powder Brows done?
A small needle is used to deposit pigment into the skin with a quick hand motion, resulting in a pixelated effect of powder makeup. In order to add density, pixels will be repetitively layered; which will appear as though the brow was filled in with a pencil or brow pomade.
The art in shading is to layer the pixels perfectly without appearing denser and darker then your natural eyebrow hair.
Who are Powder Brows for?
Powder brows are for clients who draw on their eyebrows everyday. For these clients, this can be an amazing, beautiful solution.
It is also a great alternative for clients that are not the right fit candidates for Microblading or Combo Brows, as shading is suitable for any skin type.
How many sessions do I need for Powder Brows?
Clients have had excellent results after one session with shading. However, we offer a complementary touch up after 6-8 weeks to ensure that your brows are perfect.
The aim of this touch up session is to confirm that the color is even throughout the whole eyebrow or to add a bit more density if you feel confident for a little extra.
How do I maintain my new Powder Brows?
We recommend a yearly touch up after the initial complementary touch up. This will maintain the crispness and freshness of the color.
Natural fading occurs from external factors such as exposure to the sun, as well as internal factors such as the gradual breakdown of pigments as your body metabolizes it out of your system. Everyone can experience the fading process differently and it really comes down to skin type and lifestyle.

What are Combo Brows?
This is a combination of microblading and powder brows. The border of the eyebrow is created with the microblading hair strokes and then the powder is used to give the brow fullness.
Who are Combo Brows for?
Combo Brows is ideal for the client with oily or moderately oily skin. If you’re a client who wanted to go for microblading but your skin was too oily, this procedure would be perfect.
For brows that are a little thin, this procedure gives the natural strokes that microblading provides while adding the fullness from the powder.
How many sessions do I need for a new set of Combo Brows?
This procedure will be done in two appointments. We include two sessions to make sure that the brow strokes are even and properly in place with the pigment.
The second session happens between 6 and 8 weeks of the first appointment. This is the complementary touchup session where we make any minor changes to density and the color.
How do I maintain my new Combo Brows?
A yearly touch up is recommended. This should be after the complementary touchup session and will ensure that the look and color is maintained.
Exposure to the sun is an external factor that can cause fading, and how your body breaks down pigments is an internal factor that can impact how the procedure lasts. Every person is unique, so lifestyle and skin type play a big part in how the treatment will look over a period of time.

Previous PMU Correction: $500
If you have a pre-existing tattoo, it would be considered a Correction Brow Appointment. Correction work is more difficult to work on due to the presence of old pigment and scar tissue, therefore not all old tattoos can be corrected.
Prior to booking, please send clear photos of your brows (straight on and from the sides) with a brief explanation of what you like, dislike or want to achieve, to ensure that we are able to work on them:

“I love my new brows. Angela really knows what she is doing.
I was quite nervous as there are lots of examples out there of people not knowing what they are doing, but my experience was fantastic. She talked me through the whole process and it was very easy! My brows look amazing! I would recommend this procedure to anyone and with Angela in particular!”
- Abby
“Angela is such an amazing brow artist! She made me feel comfortable the entire time, mapping out my brows and making sure it was how I wanted them. Even with the numbing gel on them she still asked if I was okay through the process. She did such amazing work with both the microblading and shading, I would definitely recommend her to anyone!”
